Thank you James for providing us the information on the sequencing of the commercials. I don't think I had ever taken that in, if you have mentioned it earlier.

If it has come up in the past, it's been quite a while, and i don't remember it. The NTT spots tend to be forgotten until someone "discovers" them and mentions it.
Anyway, the proper viewing sequence for them is as follows:
Like I said, the second live-action and the first animated spots cover the same terrority, so they ought to look similar to each other. The other two spots are unique to their particular format. The unproduced third animated spot would have brought the story (Such as it is) to more of a conclusion, so it's a real shame that it was never produced.
Wow, great job, Fang! The image caps show so much more of the detail! And thanks for the info, James. It's been ages since I've actually watched the commercials.
Awh! more idears for my inner artist,
brilliant to see these commercials in still pictures
okay I know it may be a little picky and yes I know its written in the script, but it amazes me that their identity was a secret, but why are their faces so visible and identifying under their visors
didn't they think that the goons would have access to facial recognition software and sky cameras?
(yes , to many detective shows, I blame "lie to me & NCIS, Law and Order" and a suspence novels and lots more)
Was there a reason for this? (she asks the Gatch gods, those of infinite wisdom and knowledge)
MMMMH plot bunnies!!??

Well, in 1972, facial recognition software was probably thought very far in the future. These days, the team would need more concealment, either full-face visors, or a rig like Raptor's with the beak-shaped visor and a mask for the lower part of the face.
(Which reminds me: some of the anime bowdlerized in the 1980s showed various heroes in similar sorts of masks. I was just wondering if the positioning of the mask was inspired by the masks worn with full samurai armor.)
If I can figure out the workings, the team in my Gatch AU will have better masking visors. The BotP team will have some changes, but not quite so many. (No panty shots in either!)
