I work in a mental institution, and that asshole has insulted everyone who has to be there. The mentally ill are in legitimate need of help, and often that's the only place to find it. I've walked past people talking on the phone -- and there's no-one on the other end. Or they're ranting or talking about whatever their paranoid delusions serve up. Some look, act, and sound almost normal, but don't get them started. They have it bad enough without jerks continuing to spread nonsense misconceptions about them.
I know it's easy to say, but ignore those yarak kafalis. They don't know you. They live in their own little worlds, and if they didn't have their keyboards to hide behind, they'd keep their mouths shut. Put in the same room with you, they'd never say a word. You might hit them.

i guess it's a case of feed the troll, they come back to the table.
have you tried getting the youtube authorities involved to get the comments removed and/or the author suspended? admittedly i'm not up on what their abuse policy is but they certainly must have one.
i'm really leery about posting in the video commentary like you asked for, because while the video is perfectly awesome and cool, you're asking me (and everyone else here) to get involved in an argument. You bring in your side, they bring in their side, and then you haven't got some nasty comments from a single troll-brain, you've got an honest to bejeezus flame war. you're just asking for support, but support usually brings in answering air strikes.
I don't like arguments even when its something I'm passionate about - I don't really want to tell a doofus he's a doofus when it's already perfectly obvious to anybody with an IQ over 75 reading his commentary. Because if I do, then I can have the joy of feeling obligated to checking back in a week to find out how creatively he can slang MY mother for birthing me. Then I'm going to get out the vocabulary that will sail right over this doofus' head when I *could* have spent that time slaughtering digital pixels in my game-du-jour.
and actually yes, it can be ignored. It's just amazing how much good a decent, solid round of answering apathy can do.
You're doing nothing wrong and a ton of things right by enjoying yourself, having a blast and posting a video of it. It's not your fault or problem that the internet is full of people who don't get "fun" when it stares them in the faces, so why are you rising to the bait, anyways? because that's what it is - a fishing lure.
for some reason i have the vision in my head of the old Mork and Mindy show, where Mork throws up the egg with the joyous cry "Fly! Be free!"... then the egg splats on the counter. You, my friend, probably currently feel just like Mork did in that instant - puzzled, confused and upset that the egg didn't zoom out the window on it's own.

Lyon's right, Allen, I've seen an entire group destroyed because of one idiot attacking someone and people taking sides. The two best ways to approach this would be contact youtube to report the review as harassing and abusive or two write a scathing response to the author, save it don't send, and anytime the idiot leaves a review, add to it, but never send it. When the person stops reviewing because you don't bite, or the others stop laughing, and you are able to move on, delete the file. I've done it lots of times with people I know won't take what I have to say seriously because they don't see their own behaviors. It gets it out of me. Sometimes I go to friends and sometimes I get to the point where I can approach the person in a manner that works for everyone. Honestly, you'll never be able to approach that idiot so don't even bother.
