Ow. You apparently need my car-dodging skills (college has taught me much).
I don't really know that a lot has been missed, but I can usually only check briefly before returning to the "List of things I need to do in order to graduate." It's annoyingly long. Worth it, though.

Sorry, I got smacked by a car and took a little time to recuperate. What did I miss?
I was crossing a road about 12 and half years ago and got hit by car with a stupid name, Citreon Splash (AAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH) and was driven by an 18 year old girl (no comment).
The car was worse off than me. Serves the girl and the French off.
I have attavched one of the two photos of the car I wrecked.

Still walk with a limp, and have learned to type left handed due to nerve damage, but as my darling daughter said : "Look on the bright side, Mom. You just paid for my braces, car, and first 5 years of college!"
Still not sure how I should react to that little statement.
*Looks at pic of car* Ouchies! That musta left a mark! Glad you survived Metaliant!

HHHHmmmm I also think she has a sense of humour.

Yep, I most certainly left a mark on the car.
I was told that I left an impression of my body on the bonnet of the car like Coyote does in the Road Runner cartoons and I just didn't believe it and asked to have couple of photos of the car. I was shocked at what the damage I did to the car.
I was wearing sunglasses at the time as it was a sunny day and they actually surived but one of my favourite T-Shirts, a Snoopy one, which my brother bought me changed colour from white to er red and had to be cut off me.
When my brother came to see me in hosptial 2 days after the accident and after he came back from his holdiay with his family, he already bought me another one on his holiday. Lol

Ashke,
I am glad you survived it and I agree your daughter has a good sense of humour and a way of putting a good spin on things.
Take care

Eeeps. Methinks the old fashioned way of supporting the family is easier. Sounds like you've got a good little supporter in your corner.

I'm thinking that the title to this thread is now much more hilarious. (Unless it was purposefully titled such, in which case, yes, it took me that long)
It definitely makes me drive and walk a lot more carefully. Walking is a duh, but my truck has a metal frame and most definitely doesn't crumple. I'd hate to think of the kind of damage I could do to someone.
Heh. My sister's ex-boyfriend is almost definitely the driver of the semi. >.>
I thought one scene in Black Dog was hilarious as well. This little car with armed mobsters (?) pulls up alongside the semi, telling the driver to pull over. He did. However, I thought it would be funnier if he had just pulled into the car instead. (Seriously...little car vs. a semi? And the semi backs down? What?) Some great (hilarious) chase scenes are in that movie. It also has one of the highest vehicular explosion counts I've ever seen. ^_^
