I am not doing much celebrating myself. Took the car into the garage and then taking a bunch of "trinkets" and old towels and bedding to the reuse store and then home to spring clean some more.

Not too much here, either...although a Leprechaun *did* get into my class and hide some treats around the room...I also gave green stickers to the kids who forgot to wear green today, so they wouldn't get pinched...

Wow, looks like I got back to the board just in time! CD's getting ready to give away my Eagle!! (I see how quickly you forgot our "agreement".... You could have Mark if I cold have Ken...). But, since it is Gatchamarie who you're giving him to, I guess that's ok. Of course that leaves me with either Ace or (yikes!) Hunter. Or OVA Ken... Ummm, Gatchamarie, do you think we could share????
Of course, Hino! As I always say there's enough Eagle for everyone ... maybe one at a time though! And I know that I might be a bit late for the festivities but we haven't come up with a cocktail to pour over our Eagle ... the Condor fans seem to be awesome bartenders!
Also sorry for being late in sending my wishes but I hope it was a very happy St Patrick's day for everyone! I'm surprised in seeing that this day is celebrated so much also outside Ireland!

Rather than cocktails I would much prefer something more edible to lick off the Eagle.
Hmmm, Melted chocolate? Whipped cream? Butterscotch pudding? Honey? or maybe all of them.

I suspect many people are happy to embrace another nation's holiday if it involves skipping out from work or school to go partying!

I would gladly join in that choice, CD! I've a lot of yummy ingredients in my cupboards and fridge! Instead of using them to decorate my cakes I'll be happy to use them elsewhere if you know what I mean!

Pity we don't celebrate this feast as such here! Not that we lack feasts as we have a lot of them concerning numerous saints! And, nowadays, they're almost an excuse to really party instead of remembering their true significance!

I could be wrong, but I think it's become like Cinco de Mayo, celebrated more outside of its country than within, particularly in the US where both holidays are a way of celebrating one's cultural heritage.
BTW, LB, Green, we can always see how vodka taste on our Condor. Though we might want to make sure we save some for Bloody Mary's in the morning, it sounds like we might need them.

Ooooo, Icing ... that would be nice and sticky and tasty as well. WE could even have fun "decorating" the Eagle first.

Hmmm, I wonder if this says something about us? Condor women are leaning towards alcohol and Eagle women are going towards sugary sweets.
I'm in with the sugary sweets! I don't drink at all.
