I'm surprised there was no Sailor Moon thread here already. But anyway, I've grown to become a really big fan of it. And no, us guys didn't watch Sailor Moon just because Sailor Moon, Mercury, Mars, Jupiter and Venus were hot, or because of the mushy, sappy romance between Serena and Darien, we also watched it because of the story and the beautiful animation. And there's still alot of people in this generation who brush it aside as being "gay" or stupid, and this is just because of its target audience. This show like Gatchaman before it is an important part of anime history. My favorite Sailor Scout is Sailor Jupiter. I always thought she was hot.

I've only seen the show maybe once or twice... a long time ago...but it's funny...I do remember liking Jupiter the best, just because there were no red heads...and she was the closest I could get. Also, from what I recall, she was very "down-to-earth"...I agree, the animation in the series was lovely.

I've seen the American version of the first three series (they were shown together as one series), but not the last, Sailor Stars or something like that. The first two were the best. The third series seemed to be a bit of a stretch.

I've enjoyed watching Sailor Moon on an Italian channel (what's new?!) quite a long time ago. I agree that its animation was great and I think that it also was a series upon which other anime series were based.
