That wasn’t a good start was it.
OK. In my youth BOTP was an early favourite when it originally aired, and it is still right up there with some of my other favourites like Monkey and The Goodies. I’m sort of trying to recapture my childhood lately. Not that I ever actually let it go, but anyway that’s how I ended up here.

Welcome, MrVampire. Did you chose that for your avatar or you just like vamps?

I think most of us are here for that reason. We watched BotP or Gatchaman when we were kids and have never been able to get it out of our minds. The only difference is we now look at it with adult minds, question things and make it our own.

I like how nobody has suggested a Condor pick up the tab. Maybe because, much like the Condor himself, we all pay up front without bothering to wait for a tab to be written? Wrath

Hmm.. I wonder if anyone with an intellectual bent has managed to categorise our own personalities with our chosen loyalities.....

LOL, I have never considered the tab part as being important for my considering myself an Eagle! I'm also one who likes to pay up front what I wish to acquire! But, I identify myself with most of the other Eagle's characteristics! This notwithstanding, as I said some time ago, I also have something from the other four members' characters and I think that every person behaves differently according to the actual situation in which he/she's involved ... that is everyone can sometimes be an Eagle or a Condor, Swan, Swallow or Owl ... it depends on what's occurring at that moment!

Yes this topic has be brought up several times through out the time I have been here. Although with new members always arriving it is nice to hear(see) their take on the topic as well.

I have aligned myself with the Owl, probably because I most resemble the Owl and have the laid back mannerisms of the Owl. I also do not like to see people left out, feel all should be included and at the time I chose to represent the Owl clan he had no volunteers.

But the Eagle has always been my first choice and love from the series. My AU stories are all based from the Eagle's POV because of this love.

IMHO, I think all the members of the team, including the Condor, have a huge tab. It is just we never hear Jun, during the limited "down time" we see in the show, mention it to the others. Winknudge

I'm a Condor because I most identify with him. I'm a hot head and my parents used to say I should have been a redhead (they were very stereotypical).

I'm also a loner at heart and started watching racing when I was a kid. The Condor driving a cool car helped me like him even more.

I can't watch racing, but I love driving and I will admit to being a bit of a speed demon <sigh> there's this nice empty open road and I know what the limit is, but well....

Anyway, I was never the hot headed one in my family unless pushed, but definitely the loner....

I got called ruthless by my manager the other day. But in a good way - apparently I know what needs to get done and will do anything to make sure it is done right the first time....

Hmm.... And here I was thinking I'm a Condor because I have a thing for guys that you know are just wrong.....

As for Joe having a tab - didn't he get a huge payout for winning the African Rally in Witch Racer? If he's got a tab, Jun would no doubt find a way to make him pay up. I'm thinking a yo-yo strike and not upside the head....

Like CD said, we have run through our similarities with our clan personalities, and amazingly, most of them really are right on. But like Gatchamarie said, we all have at least some characteristics of each one.

As for me, I am definitely an Eagle. But I think I'm predisposed to it, since, according to fandom, Ken and I share the same birthday (sorry guys, but it's been a while since I've had the opportunity to mention it! LOL!). But I really do have a lot of the same characteristics as Ken, which are really generalizations for those of us who are Aries. I'm independent, self-reliant, and honest, but I can also be stubborn, impatient, and, depending on the situation, can sometimes get mad easily (well, I wouldn't say "mad" as much as "annoyed" It takes a lot to actually make me mad). But, I'm also compassionate like the Swan, listen like the Owl (he really does have a sensitive side!), can be playful like the Swallow, and the Condor... Well, if you are one of the unlucky ones who really can make me mad, watch out! LOL!

But as for the Eagle's similarities, yeah, there you go... Me and the Eagle - perfect together! Big Grin
