Amazingly, Richard Hatch, Apollo from the original BSG and Tom Zarak from the re-imagined BSG hasn't changed his hair. In fact despite being 30 years old, he's still got the same hair in the same style.
I can barely remember how long I have lived in this house of mine.......Hold on it's been 12 years. And it's been 10 years since starting work at Homebase.
Now I feel old.

Dirk Benedict . . . *swoon* - I watched him in every incarnation I could. I don't care if I'm old, in my mind neither one of us has aged a bit (except of course, I'd be legal - which I wasn't when I first started watching BSG!).

You know -that could very well be what inspired Dirk Daring's name! Didn't GOS come out in the early 80s? Battlestar Galactica and A-Team would have been pretty fresh in people's minds.
My older sister, I recall, had a Dirk Benedict crush from watching BSG.

Gatchamarie nice avatar!
I don't know anyone that did not have a crush on him during that period! Only my mum, who had a crush on George Peppard instead! Makes sense due to her age those years! Thanks again for complement.

Gah, as if becoming a mum isnt making me feel responsible, I now feel old thinking about my girl hood crushes.
Every one I knew, well the girls any way but you cant be sure, watched BSG for Starbuck and the A team for Face. There may have been a few disenters who liked apollo but we soon shouted them down. All the boys wanted to be him as well. You'd get a 30min break time, decide to play BSG and the lads would spend 20mins arguing over who got to be starbuck and who was apollo.
Oh and ghostbusters, I was 8 when it came out, I'm 33 now but the old lady in the library still scares me!.
When I was a kid and my friends and pretended to be characters from TV shows, I tended to end up doing the villain/bad guy -my friends said I was the best at it!

Maybe, lborgia88 you could be a Berg Katse, Devilstar or a goon one week.
Probably do a better job and still be a live at the end of the series.
Heh, what my friends didn't realize was that I was mostly just channeling my older brother, who had a rather twisted mind and tended to admire, and talk at length about, "evil overlord"-type characters (ie. he saw Star Wars and liked Darth Vader the best). It so happened that none of my friends, when I was that age, had older brothers.
