I have just checked myself and I have been here since 2005. You just don't know where the times goes in this place.


That is what I was thinking .... I have been here TWO years.... it feels like only a few short months ago that I first logged on and explained that I know nothing about computers, the internet or forums. Now I appear to the the second highest poster on this site. (I still have not decided if that part is a good thing or a bad thing.)

I am actually a very shy person ... while on here I have opened up a lot and I "think" it is actually starting to show in real life.

Wait I KNOW it is affecting my real life, after all I did go all the way to California to visit TJ last summer, a few years ago I would not have even dreamed of doing something like that.

But I know I still hold back a lot of my opinions and comments, unsure of what people will think of them or make of me.

I will say Cloud, that while I have only been around a mere year (that's practically virginal around here!), since my very first moments of lurking to now I have absolutely always seen you as as a present, benevolent *force* on this board. If we were in a theater, I'd describe you as having a natural "stage presence". You are such an integral part of the community here, I just can't even imagine this place without you. Nor can I picture you as shy or introverted. You always have such wonderful, funny, naughty and insightful things to say. I like your opinions, your fics, your playfulness -- you are part of the fabric of gatchamania. you rock.

So do I and for similar reasons. Sometimes it gets too much and I MUST have a say on this or that and sometimes a situation comes along where me and another perosn might get into a misunderstanding but I do feel that you guys are my friends unlike in real live, in fact I think I have more friends online than I ever had at school and college.

I KNOW I have more friends online than from my college and school days. The few friends I thought I had at college have all fallen off the face of the Earth.

And I left high school not wanting to remember any of those "friends." In fact as went as far as moving to a Uni. that was the furthest point from my home town as I could get, and yet still remain in the same Province, hoping to start a different life.
