2 days ago, I was messing around on my microfsoft media player and watched couple of film trailers.

I saw a trialer for a film called 2012, which is yet another film about the end of the world as we know it but this time in the year 2012 and is based on the Mayan prediction.

To quote the Scottish bloke from Dad's Army (a British comedy show) "We're doooooomed."

Gosh ... The discovery Channel are really going to town on this "Date of Doom".

Flash and I joke about the Earth ending on Dec 21, 2012, and how we should go and absolutely live it up until then ... max out the credit cards ... ya know.

Heh heh...

Predictions, people ... what do you think? How will the "earth as we know it" end? (It is important that whole "as we know it" statement ... that doesn't necessarily indicate Earth's destruction ... just a WHOPPING big change)

I'm betting on the switch of the polar fields ... It's the least catastrophic event...

Well maybe there will be a major event while the Olympics are being held something memorable like 9-11. To some, that is a "Date of Doom" as SJ says.

That date of doom could just be one big moment. Stories have it that the new US president will be assassinated, God forbid it from happening .... but the US, and a great deal of others, would see that as a Doom Date .....

It could also be something like the first man mission to Mars. Earth would not be destroyed but we are now expanding into space....

As we get closer to dealing with AIDS, a new disease .... one is due, Earth is not able to support its population and natural extermination is one way the planet could reduce those numbers....

Mind you it's only been recently where first we the beginning of the 21st Century was suppose to the beginning of the end with that computer virus and Jesus Christ was suppose to be born again.
