Well, not exactly ranting. Apparently his detector doubles as a communications device with the Boss, who was calling Pierre. Rather than admitting that he was sitting in an amusement park, eating a soft cream cone, he was pretending to be in hot pursuit of Gatchapin. A nice idea, until the Boss informed him (Silently, of course, since the Boss is never heard speaking) that Gatchapin was nearing the Secret Base (The purple and yellow thing sticking out of the woods that Gatchapin points to). The rest of the episode is spent with the Boss calling and nagging poor Pierre with orders.

Actually, I noticed that in the previous episode when they have the 'cliffhanger' and they had the scenes at the end, Gatchapin and Katse were fighting, and it looked like a fire/lava pit in the background. Wink
