My brother warned me but I didn't really listened as I wanted to take more photos and even try to video it a bit on my phone before the phone getting wet but.....well, it didn't quite go to plan, but luckily that was at the beginning of Nile's section and the only time I got wet with unknown liquid.

Of course, I have been told that they have to turn the music down a bit as people were going to deaf. All I can say to that is "PARDON." and "That's the idea."
I know what you mean -I've been to techno shows where I can literally feel the sound hitting me, and afterwards my friends say their ears are ringing. Me, I shove in those little foam ear plugs, as my hair hides them and no one can tell I'm being a wuss.
Couple of years ago, I was reading Kerrang, a rock mag, and one blokes says that he uses cotton wool, which not only helps in not making you deaf but also makes the sound clearer.
Apparently, deaf people need the music extrememly loud, so they can feel the vibrations. The Beach Boys song Good Vibrations springs to mind.
