Hmm...what to reveal about myself?Alright you asked for it.... Wink

I'd say I'm a novice Gatchaman fan at best, who was introduced to the series as BOTP when Sandy Frank transmuted it over to the U.S.. (I'd love to one day see the other international dubbs like "Commando Hefe") I started collecting Gatchaman stuff maybe 5 years ago? However, I've still yet to see the complete first series. The HK pirates that I have don't even go up to the episode where Berge Katse finally kills himself. I think the "Chinglish" subtitles are going to kill me first. Badacid

Okay, here's the part where you folks may decide whether or not I'm worthy of being here...I confess that I do have an alterior motive. Eek Hey, I'm a Galactor after all.

I'm currently enrolled in a storyboarding course and I've decided for my final project to commit one of the gravest sins upon humanity and have the audacity of making my own contemporary amateurish revamping of Gatchaman in the form of what some call an "animatic" or "board-o-matic". Basically still storyboard shots synced up with sound. It'll most likely be completed more as a 1-2 minute trailer-ish type of thing.

Anyway, as part of research I thought I should find the experts with the informational resources and why I'm partially here besides being a participant in *the coolest message board* on earth. I promise to give consenting credit where it is due on my project, but if it comes out sucky you may not want to have any association with it. Rolleyes Plus, I'm not planning on making any money off of it as I wouldn't want to incurr Tatsunoko lawsuits or death threats from fellow fans. Tongue

For the time being, thank you all for the warm welcomings and I hope to be able to make some contributions in the way of fan artwork and general dialogues.

Youre to be commended on your lovely introduction, and your contribution to the site , sharing your wiriting and artistic talents with us. I think you have already found many likeminded and as friendly people equally as eager to admire and help you with your project as you are to present it to your storyboard class. Im sure you would have signed on that dotted line, Cepster would have handed you, giving up your right to ever sleep again, as creativity , inspiration , and sheer madness overtakes you once you come in here ( not to mention the pheremones a fellow Galactor has instilled into your computer to forever addict you to this and other member sites).

There is no need to ascertain your affiliations to either ISO or Galactor as it has been made obviously clear where your allegience lies.
