When the three-year-old is at the stage where she wants to sit on the potty for ages, alone, and even wipes herself (needlessly) and puts the paper in the potty,
and you know that this is a normal part of the process for some kids, and you don't want to sabotage it,
make sure she has somewhat less than an entire roll of toilet paper beside her.
