I am a production manager and teach theater in a university in Illinois. I loved BotP when I was a kid (a very very long time ago!) and was feeling bored and nostalgic last winter and discovered I could rent the episodes on Netflix. And that lead me to Gatchaman! I fell in love with the birdies all over again -- and then discovered the net community for Gatch et al.
Transmute Jun, Springie, Ebonyswanne -- I've been reading your fics in different places for a while now, and, well - wow! You ladies are amazing writers. You (and other fic writers) have opened my eyes to so much more fun to be had with Gatachaman. I am honored to be in the company of such clever, creative Swans!

Welcome Gogirl.
And now that you have bowed down before the Three Goddesses of Fic writing let me help you up and warn you about the Rubber Room, whips and pokey sticks.

Oh, well, now you've got us all !!! I think I can speak for all three of us when I say that what pleases us most is knowing that we have readers out there who are enjoying our stories.
And we hope the 'other fun' with Gatchaman inspires you to have some of your own...
As a denizen of the theater I will share with you one of our most important bits of lore: There are no small parts, only small actors . . . .I think that applies to gatchamaniacs too -- every contribution is an equally important contribution.
But, we do keep a special place in our hearts for the divas, maestros and grande dames!

I like this Gogirl. I will have to remember this. It goes well with what TJ keeps trying to remind me of, as she tries to help me regain my (writing) confidence.
And I like you siggie line as well. I guess you are a Tolkien fan as well.

Tolkien was my first encounter with fantasy writing -- I read it in high school and actually stayed up all night and then stayed home sick the next day to finish reading The Return of the King.
cd - I don't know how to do those quote box things, but you said you were getting your writing confidence back . . . well, I have never written and posted anything publicly ever - and never written any gatch fic at all -- so I would be so grateful if you shared any insights you have in the confidence direction.

-- I was pointed to the Night at the J interactive fic by some taunting swanies trying to make a newbie blush -- it worked! You girls really know how to find fun ways for little birdies to let off some steam!
I have lost myself to this site for four hours -- what have you all done to me?
