Maybe they should look at a map before they started out. I normally do that myself if I need to find a place that I need to get to but don't know exactly where it is.
Often customer will ask me where the stuff is for example:-
Customer, "Do you work here?"
Looks down at name badge with HOMEBASE on it.
Customer, "Eo you work here?"
Replies, "Of course."
Customer, "Where can I find paint."
Replies, "In the paint section."
I don't say the last line all the time but sometimes, they can be standing right in the front of the sextion that they need to get to and sometimes they can't even bother to walk around the store and find the stuff they need.
I was even asked where stuff is when they got through the bloody entrance.
In fact I have seen customers getting out through the automatic entrance doors, because they think it's the exit, despite the doors not opening and we have ANOTHER F#*king set of doors that open we you leave the store.
Also, where do you normally find the Information/Customer help desk.........erm.......at the front of the store perhaps? We have 3 huge signs, which even I, a partially sighted person, can see halfway down the store which says INFORMATION.
