[FIC]: The Phantom Of The Cross (Snippet)

TITLE: The Phantom of the Cross

I figured I'd give everyone a sample of my writing, so here's a snippet of the story I'm working on right now.

This story is set in the two year period between Gatchaman and Gatchaman II. Basically, this particular story came about after a friend of mine -- who is allergic to slash -- watched the final episode of Gatchaman last week. Against her common sense, she read the full version of a slash story I had written and got shocked by it, but apparently, she still liked it enough to beg, wheedle and harass me to write a story for her about Joe and the events surrounding that last episode. Since that particular story arc was very depressing enough as it is, I decided to write a different story for her. I sent this DRAFT (Yes, it's still a draft) to her and she liked it. So now, I'm continuing it.

There will be TWO versions of "Phantom" -- one that is rated PG and a much racier NC-17 version. I don't know if I'll be posting both versions here. But most likely, I'll put the PG version here and the NC-17 one in Gatchaman Fan Fic Archive.

Anyway, I hope you like it. Please pardon the errors. As I said this is just a draft. Oh, and I'll be torturing you a bit with the wait for the continuation. I promised my friend that I'll post the story in its completed state. Just thought I'd give everyone a preview.
