U.S. Navy has a new ship called super aircraft carrier......

it runs on nuclear fusion. and they have the most advanced defense system that runs off computer.
This computer controls 4 diffrent missle systems the first is so powerful that the computer will destroy anything 25 miles away without permission to be near it. This ship can stay at sea for 2 years without refueling......

I dought anybody could get near the aircraft carrier not counting the battle ships and gun boats,,,,

Gunnie...No arguing about the fire power etc of the US army. But youdon't do all alone... never forget that, especially if you go into any part of the army.The US sends troops to Australia to train in combat, its a working good relationship. Don't get cocky, if they actually let you in they may send you here to train... Wink

The sword would always win gunnie, well most the time anyways. It's kind of hard to shoot somebody standing close enough to stab you. You would be to worried about trying to dodge the sword than pulling the trigger.

Excuse me Gunnie, but in the past, some armies who outnumber a small army or force actually lost or didn't destroy the smaller army/force.

For examples.....

1) Battle of Thermopylae - 480 BC

300 Spartans, 700 Thespian volunteers, 400 Thebans that had been pressed into service, and 900 Helots.

150,000 to 200,000 roughly.

Okay, so the Spartans and co lost, but with good training, equipment, tactics, knowledge of area and leadership you can hurt the larger force a lot more than they can hurt you.

Peninsular War 1807 to 1814

The Mexican commander said of those Legionaries, "What can I refuse to such men? No, these are not men, they are devils." and escorted them home, let them carry the body of their captain and let the French Legionaries keep their weapons.

A Condor with a one track mind for revenge took a base unknowingly with a single feather caught in the mechanics of a Galactor advanced war machine...

Five people dressed in bird costumes took out how many bases in one day???

Aussies have always been outnumbered on the battlefield... we seem to still manage to win occasionally.

Heck we celebrate a battle that we lost! The Turks had the high ground to start with...thats a very important part of battle strategy...

But they were scared of us in the end...those mad Aussies with their bayonets. I wouldn't want to have been on a battlefield. Not from the footage I have seen of real battles from the first and second world war. Scary,nightmarish stuff.
