This was a great story Ebony.
Even though I am an Eagle/Swan person, I loved the way Princess had to work through her emotions to come to her decision.

Thanks CD...you how much i am an Eagle/Swan shipper, so it was hard for me to come up with a plausable story. (When I was a kid I didn't like the condor, I thought Jason was a jerk! He reminded me of a boy at school that liked to tease me.)
But I like him more now...So I decided to it as a BOTP just so i do at least one...

"Mark was looked upon as a hero, the man behind the blue visor that led the most formidable team in the universe. Women swooned over him, and the media would write reports of an unspoken romance between the Swan and the Eagle that appealed to her romantic nature and set her imagination going from his smooth good looks and startling blue eyes. Princess had found herself caught up in the fairytale that other people wanted, and what she thought she wanted."
*puts down the scissors*
This gave me a fit of the giggles picturing all of you fic writers as the paparazzi! Good stuff girl!
*sighs, enjoying the thought of being wrapped in furs with the Condor*

I can credit my older sister for my familiarity with Ice Castles, the 70s movie -she never missed it when it was on TV, and I liked it too. (International Velvet, with Tatum O'Neal, was the other 70s movie she'd never skip).
As a title, it tied in so well with the events of your story, while also referencing the late 70s, BOTP's time -very clever.
I was a bit uncertain about this story... I just hoped I could do it so it made sense and had some plot it! But I had always said I'd do at least one BOTP ficcie. I wanted it to at least not be.."Oh well Mark rejected me lets move onto Jason..."
