Glad to hear you're feeling better Meg...there are some really nasty flu bugs going around.
Well there's supposed to be a high of 8 degrees today. It's only 9AM and the snow is melting quite rapidly...I already have a very slushy backyard.
"But you didn't tell them the fun part Kimi." And Cloud adds sarcastically "for the next week they are forcasting 1-3 cm of the white stuff to fall everyday."
Well I guess that will be okay as long as we get sun as well to melt it. With the sun shining as brightly as it is, the snow will melt quickly off the black top and roads, but where it lands on top of other snow it will start accumulating again.
Well the weatherdudes seem to be constantly changing their minds lately and can't agree on what it's going to be like...I haven't noticed any new accumulation, though the slush did freeze up over night. I do think we will have at least one more major blizzard and then hopefully spring will be soon!

Kimi, Canadian forcasters have said, since weather has been recorded we have always had at least one major snow storm in March, (Not sure if the one tonight will count.) and we have a 75% chance of a storm in April as well. Although the one in April is usually more wet snow that has melted by the next afternoon. It is also not uncalled for to have a snow falling in Early May.
So, even though Spring begins in just over 2 weeks time, we can expect more snow to fall at some stage.

It's just been damm cold, a bit of rain over the weekend, but mostly sunny. I reckon Homebase, who I work for, should give us fleeces that keep us warm outside but cools us down inside, instead of taking off and put on our fleeces all the bloody time.
I just may catch my death of cold one day and then I will haunt HOmebase thereafter in my unfirom just floating around saying it's extrememly cold inside.
