LOL, Amy. Ken initiated the confrontation. Ryu wanted to be left alone but Ken wouldn't have any of it. Ken grabbed Ryu's scuba hoze or his belt... I'm not sure which.
I didn't knew Ryu's belt is so.... elastic.

I'll skip the joke that Ryu's belt needs to be to fit properly. Actually I think it is the strap that you wear to attached the scuba tank to one's back.
FWIW, I think Ryu did a great job in that ep! In my Place on the Team fic, it wasn't HIS fault that he was dozing on the job.
Actually, there's a really good fic series about a clone of Ken that was used to replace the real Eagle when Ryu rescued him... quite the interesting read. I'll have to see if I can find it...

Awwww! You are right those are cute.
When I get home I will have to figure out the keystrokes and perhaps add them to my signature line.

Ken cared about what happened to the Owl, thats why he wanted to know what he was up to.
Ken/Mark cares about all his team mates, which is what makes him a good team leader. Compassion, confidence and decisive those are three qualities that makes a good leader IMHO

Hey CD, check this out! It's the real deal! I wonder if the Owl realizes it's missing...he can't let it fall into Galactor hands!!
I wonder if we should send the team out to fetch it.
Or if the Owl should make it a covert operation.
Hmmmm! If Jun can not turn into the Swan without her civies shoe. Does that mean the Owl can not turn back into Ryu with his helmet missing?
Now there is a ficcie idea.... Anyone?
BTW great find Springie.
