Amy, may I just point out that in a fic YOU wrote, you have the team surviving the final encounter (except for Jun) along with Ego. Even Ken, who had his Hypershoot illness, survived. Therefore it seems that you too have acknowledged the possibility that they survived, enough to write a story around it.
In any case, the ending was obviously meant to be nebulous, to allow the potential for another series. So as far as Tatsunoko goes, I think they did an excellent job setting up the possibility that they COULD have survived. Amy, you say that they're human and cannot be reborn, but I think we've seen enough Gatcha-science to imply that it's possible. What if the amulet was some kind of transporter that re-formed their matter?
In any case, there is no clear answer to this, and while it is fun to discuss, I don't think anyone can state that someone else is right or wrong. We are simply discussing what we THINK happened, as there is no proof of what ACTUALLY happened.

I liked your little humor with the new transmuter, amy, but that wasn't where I was going with it...lol
I'm not sure if I want to run with that or not...
That is definately enough to make the eagle want to hang up his helmet though...
::Toneman, after being soundly humiliated from the new birdstyle he found, decided it was best to go outside. He found Joe's car in the Mech Garage, and got in it. He fired the engine up, and laid a trail of ruber and smoke all the way out to the street. There was only one man who could help him get his revenge now...
"They want to laugh at me while I try to do their jobs?? That Devilstar thinks she's untouchable?!?!? I'll show all of them, and then they won't be laughing anymore..."
He opened his Cell phone, and dialed a number in it.
The voice on the other end told him where to go and meet.
Toneman pulled up to a harbor, and parked on the dock... A figure in a white suit stepped out to greet him..
"Hello, Tone... Long time no see...."
"Red Impulse...."
