Toneman wakes up on a couch, in the Crescent Coral Base He touches his hand to his forehead and feels a bandage. A sharp pain tears through his skull as he sits up. Nanbu Hakase was standing there with the Condor...
"Your behavior is intollerable. You're fortunate that the Condor was with you when your G-1 exploded. These irresponsible actions of yours have rsulted in numerous civillian casulties, and property damage in the seven figure range. You're getting too restless."
"I'm not restless. I'm going to destrot Gallacter, plain and simple. If you don't want to help me, then I don't need you."
"Tone," the Condor replied "We're a team. We back each other up. I want revenge too, but I think you're going too far."
"You think I'm going too far, Joe? That's the pot calling the kettle black..."
"That's enough!" Nanbu Hakase said. "Toneman, I think you need some time off to cool your jets. You are hereby suspended from the Kagaku Ninjatai until further notice.."
"Hakase!!"
"Don't argue, Tone. Give me your bracelet..."
"Hai, Hakase...." Toneman took his TransPower band off, and laid it on the Hakase's desk.
"Relax, and take it easy," Nanbu said. "You'll get it back when you calm down some."
"Whatever. I'm deucin this peice..." Toneman stormed out the door, and into the main hall of the ISO building. As he made his way to the elevator, something caught his eye. A lab assistant had come from behind a door marked "research and develpoment", and he had left it slightly open. Toneman dashed into the room quickly, and had a look around. He saw a bracelet on a lab table that looked similar to his. Toneman picked it up, and scrambled out the door with it as he got onto the elevator.....
"I wonder what this thing does...."

Tone puts the bracelet on, studying it. The design was different but it had the red phoenix symbol. Smiling he rised it to his lips , shouting the vocal comand:
"TRANSMUTE!!!
As usual, light envepoped him, then faded to reveal the white and pink...
"What?..." he blabbered looking down at his new attire. First, this was definitely Jun's Birdstyle, but the skirt was waay shorter. It was V-cut leavind the sides of the panties exposed.
Tone scowled and looked behind him , pulling the red wings away to hae a look at his bottom. The back side of the skirt was even shorter, exposing the
"G-strings?" he groaned
Okay, this would look great on Jun, but he didn't even dare how he looked like in that thing.
A flash disturbed his thoughts the a unison of chuckles and snickers errupted . Tone spun around startled and was greeted with the sight of his mates and several members of the ISO research department.
He could feel his cheeks burning with embarrasment.
God, he'd rather endure that psycho Devistar's bashings a thousands times than..... this.
In the crowd of guffawing people, there was two exceptions....
First, was Nambu Hakase, who fixed him with his customary "I'll-deal-wit -you-later" glare and the Swan who had an eqal intense stare fixed on the Doctor.
"THAAAAAAAAAAT?" The piercing scream slienced all the laughter in the room, a thing Tone felt very grateful for.
Nambu turned to face the enraged Swan. Jun gripped him by the front of his collar and slammed him in the doorframe.
"THAT? Do you think I'll ever go in a mission dressed like THAT? Don't you have any sense of decency!? " she barked as she kept smacking him against the wall.
"I'd be looking like a slut!"
Tone's cheeks went even redder as the chuckles decibels rised again around him.
In an instant he ripped away the bracelet from his wrist the embarrasing outfit dissapearing ashe did so, and take his leaft the next very second.
In the room, Jun continued bashing Nambu.
"And he tells me I'm violent!" he thought as he strolled to the ISO halls

They don't survive at the end. The last scene from Fighter is the Firephoenix dissapearing over the Earth and Kamo saying that they are the immortal Phoenix, then the images of all 5 of them in civvies appears on the sky background, like the memories of the characters who had died. So they are dead! |

The Phoenix is immortal, not them. And untill Tatsunoko decides to make another sequel they're dead! |

But Kamo says: "THEY are the immortal Phoenix." You said that yourself. And the only way for the Phoenix to function is with them in it so they are immortal like the Phoenix that contains them.
And Amy I could come back with the oposite about Tatsunoko, until he decides to make a sequel telling us they are dead, then they are alive.
So face it, there will not be an answer to that. You may have your universe end however you want it to; I will have it end the way I want it to and we agree to leave it at that. |

CD even the Phoenix dies. It is immortal because it can rebirth from it's own ashes. Literarily speaking , since they're all humans , I doubt they can do that. If they rivive, maybe Ego will too. Oh well a wishful thought!
As for the universes, that's a faire convention. Maybe the new Gatch animated movie will clarify the things a little!
