That certainly got the Eagles attention. Launch a Bird missle, while they were here? Did that idiot Condor not know what would happen if he did that.

Although joining the mile high club had sounded interesting, the Eagle really did not intend for Jun and himself to join while they were in free fall.

Ken managed to shout out, "Delay that order ... pant .... until the situation here ..... ummmm .... is corrected."

"I'm on it..." Ken grinned, as Jun sighed happily...

"We..."The pants...as he enters the Swan, she cries out for more."We...are...coming NOW!!!!YESSSSSSS" The both shout out in unison."OHHH Ken...I can't take any more of this...you torturing me with-"

"You're pathetic Ken...if you were a man...you take advantage of the situation when your alone with her...and well I'll tell you later when Jun's not around...You can't take a hint from a woman can you..."

"What...are...you...talking...about...Joe." Jun asked innocently as Ken collapsed on top of her still half dressed in his birdstyle.

"Ken might explain it later to...if he figures it out...Now I have my finger on the red button..." Joe states as the mechanisms for the missile launch start come into play in the small room.

"Our work here is done..." Ken announces as Jun stiffles a giggle with her hand over her mouth, The Eagle pushes her hand away and kisses her passionately....

"We better get outta here."He whispers....

"Are you crazy?!?!?!? What are you doing?!?!" Red Impulse shouted over the comlink. He increased his speed to catch up to the Slipstream.

Meanwhile, the GodPhoenix had gone into evasive manuvers. It was trying to shake Toneman's jet, But he was too tenacious to let go. Toneman continued to light the Godphoenix's rear end up with his bullets. An engine began to smoke, and Toneman ceased his fire. He broke away, and tailed them some more.
By that time, Red Impulse had caught up to him. He was shouting and cursing at Toneman, and was replied with after-burnes in his face. Toneman split off, with Washio close behind, the Eagle in hot pursuit......

Now I know why I call everything I do average and so does my older sister, and she's fantastic at doing peoples portraits. The likeness is amazing in her work.

She got in the top 10% of NSW art students in high school many years ago, but mum still has the painting on the wall at home...and my sister thinks that painting is OK, but she could do better...

She points out what i could do better in drawings, but I don't try to copy her style...she would do pics of men like i do...Wink1

<Hino goes back to her innocent smut-free writing. She's obviously much better at stealing GodPhoenix's and flying off to Australia than she is at writing smut...>

Yes, well I was thinking how could the Eagle be in hot persuit behind Tone when the Phoenix's back end has been blown out? That is where the Eagles jet is so I guess the Eagle remains in the Phoenix, chasing after Tone.

This should be fun. Obviously the Phoenix has a lot more power than Tone's rinky-dinky jet.

I have a Welcome Back Thred? Whoo hoo! I'll have to check it out....

But first...

Despite the thrilling afterglow of his encounter with Jun, the Eagle was ready to take command.

"Ryu!" he called into his bracelet. "Science Ninja Technique, Firebird!"

"You got it, Ken!" came the response.

The Weapons Bay began to glow a firey orange color, lighting up the Swan's features in a way that made her seem as if she had been crafted of a living flame. Amazingly, Ken felt himself being drawn to her again, like a moth to its destruction.

But he couldn't help himself.

Meanwhile, Toneman's jet, still tailing the God Phoenix, got a big mouthful of Firebird. The hungry flames licked at his fuel tanks, and his jet's engine temperature rose alarmingly.

The Red Impulse Wannabe knew when he had been defeated.

"I'll get you next time, Gatchaman!" he shouted ineffectually, ejecting himself from his plane just as it exploded in a fiery display.

However, Toneman was treated to an awesome sight as his parachute opened. The Red Impulse jet had been unable to avoid the explosion, and now it too was hurtling for the ground, a ball of flame and twisted metal.

Only, Red Impulse did not appear to have escaped...
