There seems to be a lot of that going on on this board.

Sometimes I like to drop in and see who's lurking where - sometimes this leads me to interesting threads.

But one thing I notice is that every day - Hell, every time I drop by - people (guests) seem to be reporting posts.

Does this mean that people don't like what we're saying?

Cep - give me the gossip, are we really that bad? Like which kinds of posts are being reported?

Oh, when I go to the "Who is Where" part of the board, it shows what y'all up to and which thread you're on, whether you're replying/viewing ... ya know.

Right now noone is reporting. But I was on about a month back, there were about 40 - I kid you not - 40 guests on the boards, and about eight of them were reporting.

Just about every time I'm on, though, seems someone is reporting a post.

Well SJ my dearest, they are most likely bots page scanning the site, and when I can I try to traceroute the little buggers just to see if they are legit or evil porn bots trying to find a vunerability in the site.

Either porn or pharmaceutical (especially viagra/cialis/sex drug) bots. They are the most common bots out there. They're notorious and a pain in the arse (especially the ones that leave spam on people's comment sections in blogs).

SJ I have wondered that too at times when I have looked in that section, I have wondered why there were so many guests and what threads were being reported!
