Way to go Ebony!

A Thanksgiving meal and a happy Swan and Eagle. What more could one want for the Holidays.

Now if the Condor noticed Ebony that would make her happy as well.

Hmmm! Cloud is wondering if she should siddle over to the Owl and take that last serving of Pavlova from him.

Yes all the great food was scruptious... I'm so looking forward to tom., when I get to do it all over again... even the long drive.

Ebony and all, the lamb was so tender... the spices were a little overwhelming at times but there was so many other foods to "wash" it down.


Man his brother is a great cook.

It's funny... I had turkey last weekend and my wife ended up making turkey stew yesterday with the left overs. So I had turkey on American Thanksgiving after all (and on Canadian Thanksgiving last month also). But then again I enjoy turkey and stuffing and gravy. I'm sure I'll have it at least once on Christmas too (considering I'll be going to two separate Christmas dinners - my family & hers). Wink

One year I had Christmas dinner at my uncle's place - he is a butcher and an avid hunter so that year we had moose and goose for dinner. That's the order you have to mention them in otherwise you are goosing the moose. Eyebrows

It was a very good meal. Moose gravy was fantastic. Both animals had a wild taste to them that you don't find in domestic animals. That taste takes a bit to get used to but I grew up eating wild game so it didn't bother me.

Sosai does Moose taste anything like Venison???

My sister-in-law and her husband have a deer farm, every now and then he has one killed for meat.(they live on the farm next door DH's parents, his brother is across the road closer to the dairy, I call it the Devils triangle.)

They are going to the US in a about 2 weeks to catch up with some hunting friends, he's taking his rifle so I guess hunting will be involved somewhere on the trip. (he only hunts deer,)I think it is Wyoming they are going too.

I thought you were American Sosai! I got that wrong did I...

I like Kangaroo meat, sweet and tender if you cook it right...Goes great with Cranberry sauce!

I never had the chance to try kangaroo yet... yet. Moose is a type of deer so it is very close to venison but with a richer taste IMNSHO. It has been years since I've had venison though so I'm going by my not-so great memory. *grin* My dad used to hunt so I grew up eating wild duck, venison, rabbit pot pie (yum!), and various fresh water fish (mmm fried catfish).

I used to live pretty close to you... but that's before you moved to TO. I was in North York at York Mills & Bayview.

Ya, when TJ lived in Toronto, I lived in Kingston, Ontario. Both TJ and I went to the same university and had common friends in Kingston even though at the time we didn't know each other. Wink it took a Gatchaman message board for us to finally "meet". Wave2

My other claim to fame is I went to the same High School as Avril Lavigne. LOL, actually I went to the same high school a few years ahead of her so I didn't actually know her (since I don't listen to her music I still don't know her - just by name only).

I was in the same class at school as two of the Rogers kids (as in the owners of Rogers Communications). One of them made my life a living hell, the other kind of liked me in the way that boys and girls 'like' each other when they're 7. Wink

I danced once with Brendan Fraser when he was a geeky student at UCC. I was there for a school dance and didn't realize I was dancing with a future celebrity until many years later when I saw his yearbook photo used in one of his movies.

I was in the same class at school with Rebecca Rankin who later became a VH-1 VJ.

Should I continue the name dropping?

I went to school with no one Internationally Famous. Not even sure if he would be considered Nationally Famous yet.

But I was at school with this Artist.
