As far as the glowy names, they're in the forum store under RPG CP. They cost 800 gold. An italicized name costs 500. You have 191 right now (checking under "check stats" under your avatar and post count). To get money, you can post (which gets you 5 per post), battle for it against another user (you set the amount), win the forum lottery, and you can earn interest by putting your money into the bank under RPG CP.
