So, what's everyone think about the new comics?
There's a discussion going on at Center Neptune, but thought I'd start one here.

As of time of writing, I haven't managed to read Ken deathmatch yet, bit my comic book store has it ordered for me.
The Gatchaman story, I like. I think it's kind of inevitable that Nambu would eventually want to find and train replacements for the team, and what better way to put them through their paces than against the originals themselves? Looking forward to seeing where they take this story.
Galactor: I'm not sure if I'm meant to feel sympathy for Berg Katze. I've spent my whole life wanting the team to defeat him once and for all, so when an outside source try to assassinate him I don't know if I'm supposed to be outraged or overjoyed ( if that makes any sense). Anyway, I will see as the story continues.
I should be getting my copy of Ken Deathmatch in a little over a week, so I will post my opinion then.

Good start - I like the thought of at least one potential supplemental/replacement team in development. Definitely shows the forethought expected of Dr. Nambu.
Trying to pump that much action (or at least the action from my memories of the series) into so few pages is a challenge. So far - we are getting started.
Need to receive my copies of Ken and Galactor - so we shall see!
I'm not sure if I'm warming to some of the characters on the "other" team - and I'm not sure if I'm supposed to have reservations. We shall see.
The only thing I find a bit difficult at the moment is having to keep adding things to my standing order with my comic book store every time a new Gatchaman related title comes up (including the one shots). Oh, and finding time to trek into town to pick them up!!
I think I'm up to date - just picked up Gatchaman #5, Gallactor #4 and Jun Apex Heart before Christmas. Planning to read them over the weekend.

Katblu yes you have the latest. Ashke, best to go to the comic book store right now.
The publlisher is Mad Cave comics and trust me these are so much better than the Top Cow ones. Interestingly enough, the artist Chris Batista, told me he too had huge issues with the Top Cow stuff.
1-5 was such a big hit they are producing a second volume and I believe number 6 is due out this month.

Incidentally, I have an extra digest that covers comics 1-5. If anyone is interested let me know. I don't want any money for it and if shipping isn't a lot I could probably swing that too.

Purchased the trade paperbacks from Chapters here in Canada, it was cheaper than getting it directly from mad caves. Now I just have to wait for them to arrive!
