Another item I stumbled upon was "Musings of a Sci Fi Fanatic". This blogger goes into great detail about BOTP/Gatch, includng the comics, several episodes, and books about Gatch/BOTP. They also write about a huge variety of other shows, too.

You may want to wander over there and scan through from time-to-time. I really enjoyed it.

Just FYI- he/ she (I think "he") has done a ton of posts on both Gatchaman and BOTP, so be sure to hit "older posts" or "newer posts" at the bottom to see more...
