Location, Location, Location...

Hi all!
I’m sorry that this is so late to the party, but since people were talking about locations from Gatchaman, I decided to put this together. Sadly, it’s not a world map, as was originally asked for. As Jason explained, no such animal exists. These, however, are the various places named during the run of the series. Since the original question focused on geographical locations, I’ve limited this mostly to things like cities or countries, like Utoland or Bien, or geographical features like mountains or rivers, like Mt. Jupiter or the Yellow River. There are some exceptions to these rules, like prisons, amusement parks, stadiums, but they still seemed to fit in the general subject well enough that I decided to include them. In general, I’ve left out things like various I.S.O. facility and Gallactor base names, since that didn’t seem to be what the initial query was about and would likely just clutter this list.
Giving credits where so much credit is due, the vast majority of the legwork on these locations comes thanks to the Japanese Gatchaman fan circle “Gatchaman Taisaku Honbu,” whose encyclopedia-style book “Basic Knowledge of GM Terms,” made looking up all of these places much, much easier.
It should be noted that this list is strictly for the first series, not Gatchaman II or Gatchaman Fighter. Those two series have quite a few other locations to add to things. I’ll try to put something together for those two series when I can, but it might be a little while. Regardless, this ought to help some.

Joe's home. It is a small island, it can be looped in 3 hours by car. It is famous as a summer resort with a tropical atmosphere. In reality, it is an island of evil, completely dominated by Gallactor, and it even known by the nickname "Gallactor Island." The police and the Mayor are all minions of Katse. Joe's father, Giuseppe Asakura, was once the Gallactor Big Boss on the island, but he and his wife, Katarina, were assassinated as traitors. Giuseppe and Katarina are buried in a graveyard on the island. Agave grows all over the island, including the Century Flower, which blooms only once every 50 years.

On the face of one a 500 meter cliffs overlooking the hot springs, three generations of the same family have worked to carve a series of human faces, including the likenesses of former Presidents, as well as one of Jesus Christ. Gallactor has a secret base hidden inside the cliff.

An island located near Utoland. On it is the Trash Power Plant, the largest power plant in the world, built using the principles of the Mantle Plan. By burning the collected garbage in a ultra-high performance incinerator, the plant generates 700,000 Kilowatts. The smoke and debris from this are turned into a coke-like solid that is then used in a thermal power plant. This process makes the entire power plant pollution free. Several hundred tons of trash is sent to it every day.

A non-polluting model city based on the I.S.O.'s Mantle Plan, built in the middle of the desert. Electrical power of more than 1 million kilowatts per second are generated at geothermal power plants located in the suburbs. It is linked to other cities by an ultra high-speed train that does not generate noise. There is no worry about PCBs or traffic noise, thanks to the computerized traffic system. Each home is fully automated and designed to make life comfortable. Polluted water flows to an underground sewage treatment plant, where sewage reduction devices change it into clean water that is sent back into homes. A dinosaur expo was held during the opening ceremony of the city, the centerpiece of which was the Mechanic Jungle, an indoor jungle made up of mechanical plants, that housed the mechanical dinosaurs.
