Well, let's see...there's an asteroid that's supposed to pass close to Earth tomorrow. Maybe a chunk of it will break off and crash into your yard, and that piece turns out to be made of gold, and nobody else notices that it hit your yard....

Silly fantasies aside, even though my circumstances were different, I know what it's like to have the people who should be on your side make matters worse by being against you. Unfortunately, I don't know of anything that can help on that front. But I'm in your corner, rooting for you.

It seems in-laws bring headaches to a maeried woman in both East and West. The main reason i deleted all postings was my sil. She had reported every contents on my facebook to her mother. It really did trouble.

These days i am staying my in laws for 10days(holydays+vvvcations!!!) because of Korean thanks giving holydays. Married women are mean to stay with husband's parents. Parents in law live in a distant city they can't meet their son often. So they want us to stay the whole holidays. I feel like i'm in a jail. My in laws are exactly the same with yours, they are stuck in their old world where a man could carry a family with his earnings. Funny thing is that mil doesn't seem to be like that when she talk with her oen daughter.

Mil has a rubber ruller. Whenever she measures me she stratches it out as much as possible. I just swear i would not be the same person to my daugher in law in the future. I think trying conversation is just usuless in these cases. They just have lived in this way, if i accuse them it is not right bla bla, i know they would feel like i'm disobaying to their rules and it means i do not respect thier world, it could also mean that i'm denying thier very existence.

It was wise that you didn't post this problems on your facebook. Aside from in laws, it is not good thing to let people arond you know your troubles. They could give you some soothing words but at least one of them put you under her heels,reading your writings. Let your steams out here! Though i cant give you direct support, it is really helpful to scream out the words inside of you.

I visited here to see B-jar but it's too late. I need to go to sleep see you on next Thursday!

Maybe its time hubby has a talk with his parents about today's version of real life. There's never any easy answers. I won't go into my feelings about the economy and the way our government pretends everything is all hunky-dory now.
