And also it takes a strong person to stand by someone like that. If Ken regained his memories, went back to the team and "allowed" himself to have a relationship (and I'm not sure it would be much of one due to the duty thing, or if it would last long), would Kena be able to do it? Just a couple of thoughts....

I was thinking of one of Mr Pratchets YA books, in which Tiffany Aching doesn't believe in a romantic novel, as she knows that any real farm girl would choose the man rich enough to own his own horse.
(Mr Pratchets YA works are often better than his general audience writings, IMHO...Often darker too)
