First of all, she sends her regards and apologizes for not being on the site very much. (As if we'd have no idea that her RL has been especially hectic!)
Here are the latest developments: her son (who broke his arm before Halloween) broke it again on May 1. It's an especially nasty break, so they put pins in his arm to stabilize the bone. He's been especially down because his birthday's coming up, and he won't be able to run around and play as he usually would.
Her cake business is still keeping her busy, as well as all the family obligations. However, her fibromyalgia and a slipped disc have decided to demand her attention, so she's been going to bed feeling like "a sack of potatoes". (I told her there was a plus side -- she isn't feeling like mashed potatoes...)
Anyway, I'm sure she'd appreciate it if you send some comforting thoughts ( not to mention the Eagle ) her way.

Yikes! Hang in there Gatchamarie! Maybe the Eagle knows some special massage techniques to help with that disc. I'm sure he also has suggestions on how to have birthday fun even with a twice broken arm. I've got to imagine that everyone on the team is all too familiar with injuries.
Gatchmarie, my thoughts are with you. I can't imagine having fibromyalgia and to have a skipped disc on top of that. Multiple hugs your way! I hope you've found some meds that can help.
How old is your son? You could maybe have a movie related birthday with pizza - all kids love pizza.

I'm so sorry to hear about your son's arm, Marie! I know how active he is, and it must be killing him not to play all of his sports and run around. Hopefully he will have learned to be more careful and appreciate his freedom once he regains it!
As for you, stay in bed and rest as you need to do. Your family understands and they want (and need) you to get better.
I hope you are feeling back to your old self soon!
