This was on Diinzumo's Facebook page this morning. I am still reeling...
I have some bad news to share: "Katsesama"/"Evangelina" (I didn't use her real name here because she didn't want her real life connected to her Gatch obsession), who was a member here and put together a long-standing Gatchaman site has passed away. My deepest condolences to her friends and family.
I have a fond memory of meeting her for the first time and dancing a silly Gatchaman dance with her at one of our Comic Con Gatcha-gatherings...she was also a great encouragement to me as I began to draw fanart. She also started a Gatchaman Fan Page on Deviant Art and then passed the reigns over to me.
Here is a link to one of the great Gatchaman websites she created:
She was responsible in the setup of the Night at the J fic, an IF which has passed into Gatchamania history and is still being read (I just received a review on it yesterday). She was very encouraging to new writers and a strong part of the Gatchaman community. She will be missed.
Having finally read Diinzumo's Facebook page, I am now doubly sad. Somehow, I knew her by her online names and her real-life name and never put them all together! I feel like I am losing two friends in this fandom now.

Such sad news, indeed. She will always be present in our hearts and through her work. I'll add in my prayers towards her and her family, bless her soul.

Very sad news -- at least she lives on with her stories and fanart and website. Hers was one of the first websites I ever discovered when I realised that were was a whole Gatch community out there. RIP.

I was stunned to hear this sad news. Her Gatch website was one of the first that I found when I got online and it was one of the ones that inspired me to start writing fanfic.
My thoughts and condolences go out to her family and friends.
