Starbuck vs G2

Ok Lola, give it your best shot. Just How can you or anyone compare Battlestar Galactica's Starbuck to the Condor? Just what qualities can you see that make them similar apart from the fact they are perfect shots, answer to their No. 1's, and sometimes wont go strictly by the rules?

Joe is just the gun toting hardcore car racing guy who has not much luck in love and tries not to run over puppies.

Starbuck is a happy chappy, who smokes cigars and likes to play at Battstar's version of poker, chills out with friends and when he's with one of his ladies friends, he tries not be seen with them by his other ladies friends.

HHHHHhhhhhhmmmmmmm, I think I need to have some and think about this.

Also Starbuck doesn't wear a T-shirt with a number but Joe does, though Galactor a bit slow on that number thing.

you kidding? After seeing the series and the new Starbuck, I think she exudes just as much sexual energy as the Condor!!!

Kara and Joe are BOTH emitting a dangerous mesmerising sexual quality due to their inner drives. Both are fueled by anger, revenge and inner pain that presents itself as outer arrogance and swagger.

They both display equal amounts of risktaking and recklessness -Kara saving Apollo's butt while he is in his crippled fighter, linking both their jets and bringing them into the docking bay mere seconds before Galactica has to "jump" , is as daring as when Joe had to save Ken's and Jun's butts when he drove up that cobra mecha!- Swoonworthy feats to be sure!

I enjoy the relationship each "second" has with their commanders. That bond each of them shares with their "no 1's" is similar in that they wont hesitate to act with their fists if not their cutting tongues to point out any mistakes either Apollo or Ken have made. Both comparable bonds contain an intimate element that have fuelled many a fanfic writers imagination. Its that special close bond which can be explored and more delved in with Starbuck as a female compared to the Condor and his Eagle whose layer of imaginary sexual tension can only be explored in yaoi fanfics.

Now if the Condor could have been female, and been able to have the same free licence as does Kara with Lee , to delve with the Eagle...

then again, it wouldnt be possible because Jun perfectly compliments Ken's fierce loyal nature...hmm..or does she? Katse (Mala) has had some very charged encounters with Ken ..hmmm...

And were Apollo to have found a Swan like female character on the Galactica , would he still be interested in Starbuck?

hmmm....interesting......

hmm Stabuck and Joe. I think Kara would have been a onderful compliment for Joe's firey nature.
