Springie these are GREAT stills from the Eps, and the artists drawing are soooo fantastic.
So real talent out there, love to get copies on file of some of these, I don't know how to do stuff like that on the computer...
I'm starting to draw again, but I'm out of practice for it, so I need to do some more before I'm happy with my pics...(I'm better with clay)

I also read that (Ken&Jun) they were going to be Girlfriend/boyfriend.
There were only going to be the three. Ken,Jun and Jinpei. Joe and Ryu were added after tutsumako was out voted...so I guess thats why I like to pair them off... kissing

to get a copy, just right-click on the picture and choose "save as", and the pictures are yours!

Yeah, I remember that one as well, you tell the difference in quality to from the original in that 10 seconds, they are so flat!
And princesses skirt got remarkably shorter! (the chemistry between them was going into overdrive!) Animecupid
I figured they were in love at ten years old!

He is not as emotional as Ken is, Mark is so noble....

That's why it is hard for me to go back and watch the BOTP version (even though I still love it). I just miss the cut out parts too much...they cut some really good stuff out of Gatch... Smash

That's why i love Gatch so much and have found it hard to go back to BOTP after watching sooo many gatch eps.
Mark is too good a boy for me Ken hid emotions and covered them with anger at his own mistakes etc(I got the idea that he longed for peace and a life) , and Jason just isn't as much a man as Joe.(my opinion anyway)
They watered everyone down...at least they gave Princess more of an opinion, but Jun does have her say when it counts.
When I read reviews before watching it (gatch)myself I thought she must have stood in the background and said nothing! I disagree with them, as 3rd in command she did a good job!

I recognised the ep, altough I didn't see the first Gatchaman series. But they've cut a lot from it. Where's the Devil Star&Joe scenes?

That was completely removed from BOTP. The episode was cut to bits - where Joe in the original gets to the map after the rest of the team have left, and then follows them and catches up in time to finish off the devil star, Jason instead gets to the map, looks and sees that everyone's already gone, and just sits down on a sofa and waits for them to get back.

The part with Joe sitting on the sofa was in the original series or added by Sandy Frank? Did they add another animation , except for those awful scenes with Ken & Jun at the Center Neptune Control Room, with Zark?

Haven't got the dvd near me to check. But if I remember right, the sofa was in the original, and all Joe's scenes after that are cut out of the BOTP episode. The BOTP version probably had extra vehicle transformation footage added to fill up the time as well as extra Zark.

Thats why I like Joe more, he's out there not sitting behind waiting for them...Sandy Frank really didn't do him justice.
