Hello everyone,
My Puppy Episode rewrite is finally finished. I decided to cut the ending short. I'm just going to write a follow up story. That shall include Joe properly healing and the Itsy, bitsy spider explaination. Amoung other things.
I want to thank you all for the encouragement and TLC I have experienced since I arrived here. Consider yourselves all hugged. I also finished my STNG story.
Now I can devote my time to the gift exchange piece and a HUGE Dr. Who project I stumbled into.
Thanks for letting us know. I'll add it to my reading list. (I'm keeping November light for NaNoWriMo, but I'll definitely make sure I get over there and read it.)
Thank you everyone.
TJ-- it feels great.
I do apologize because the story got sidelined by the Dr. Who stuff. Here is a toast to all of our muses. May they be there when we need them.

I wish I had the time to allow mine to appear. I am feeling (I am not sure if depressed is the correct word) sad that I have not been able to stick to my New Years plan of doing some fic writing every evening. Unfortunately, I have let the stress of teaching get to me and take over my life. I really need to allow myself some "me" time, if only I had another few hours in the day for it.

Thank you TJ. Do you think you could come and give me a few of those when I am in the middle of dealing with flying chairs, toys whipped at other children, and children hitting other classmates?

That's such great news, Dragonsbain! Thanks a lot for informing us and congrats for this achievement of yours! I'll definitely add it to my reading list knowing and remembering how much I've enjoyed reading the parts you already had submitted in the past! Good luck for your other projects too!
CD .. I'm so sorry to hear that you're still struggling with your situation at school! I'm sending you more , in addition to those of all the others, in order for you to use them whenever you'd need! My heart is with you!

Thank you everyone for the hugs and strength. Today was more of the same. Only this time the child headed down to the office in tears (after I took his wrist and removed him from the chairs he was throwing) and claimed that I was beating him up with books.
The Principal dropped by to confirm what had happened and after hearing my explanation returned to the student only to find the story had changed to "I was beating him with a meter stick."
A discussion with father and principal after school revealed the child is off his meds. which explains (some of) his erratic behaviour. Further and longer discussions to happen tomorrow.
Sigh, as soon as I solve one major problem in class another one seems to appear.

Sigh, as soon as I solve one major problem... another one seems to appear.
My job sometimes feels that way, though with advertising clients instead of children (though some are not all that much different, in terms of the lying) and far less stress and no tears. I feel sorry for the kid but easily see how draining it must be to deal with him, or others who are similar, on a daily basis. You're a hero, CD.
