I don't think Ken looks too bad with the goatee, but Ryu can carry facial hair better than the rest of them. Joe just looks ... odd ... with facial hair.

Interesting to see RI without the mustache - I like him better that way.

My husband has a bit of a baby face and I actually prefer him with a mustache. He looks sort of incomplete without it.

I'm in agreement with the two of you! A few (rare) men can carry off facial hair and look good, but without exception they always look better without it!

Rowrrr, Red Impulse looks hot without his mustache, but Ken does not... Giggle. I like the different views of mustaches but like Nambu's and RI's the most. Smile The guys look better without any facial hair, IMO... Smile

All this talk about hair has got me wondering ... what would the guys look like bald? Who could carry the look the best? Who would just look silly? What do you think?

Okay, I just had to try, though this is a hasty effort -everyone's ears are too small and I didn't bother much at all with blending changes into the background.

I think Ken and Joe pull off the bald look the best, as they've got the best bone structure/faces for it. Jun just reminds me of that character in the first Star Trek movie, though really she has a pretty enough face to not need hair so much, but it's so much more odd to see a woman with no hair.

Joe has the face to carry off the bald look.

I think Ryu is missing most of his head.

And I know I'm in the minority, but I like the facial hair on both Nambu and Kentaro. Besides enhancing their looks, it gives them a more mature look. When dealing with adolescent ninjas, you need all the help you can get.

LOL, you are correct I think Joe carries it off the best, although I don't think Ryu is bad either, better than Ken without hair anyways.

LB, can you do Kentaro and Nambu? They should be included in this line up as well.

I took a stab at doing Red Impulse. The problem is, he's always wearing a hat, except in fuzzy flashbacks (maybe he's got a bald spot he's trying to hide?)

I was thinking the same thing Marie. Of all of them, RI looks like he could go with no hair and look the best.
