I think I read somewhere that the writers at Gold Key weren't all that knowledgeable about the TV shows they adapted.
I believe it. I recall a Star Trek comic that had Spock speaking and reacting in a very un-Spock manner. The only other explanation was that the original script had called for one of the other characters to be in that fix. Someone made the decision to change to Spock, and all they did was tell the artist to draw Spock. (And left it a bit late, as I seem to recall at least one set of round ears.) No, I don't have them anymore.
But that Zark crapola could have come right out of the show. Why not share Zark's cleverness with the readers? Let them snicker at Zoltar as he schemes to kidnap the talking egg -- and ends up with a giant Zippo instead.
Hhmm: if I could draw, BotP Zoltar could diss Gold Key Zoltar's wardrobe.
But I do like the Luminous One being a pair of evil-looking eyes staring out of an amorphous mass on the screen. (Good thing they didn't try for its appearance from the show. God knows what it would look like!)

A fake Zark? I thought they'd allow Zark to be kidnapped so he could drive Zoltar crazy.
That reminds me of the fic Gatchtots. Zoltar uses a ray to turn the team bac into kids and they drive both Anderson and Zoltar nuts. One of my favorite reads when I need a good laugh.

Okay, there are sooooo many things wrong with this picture, I'm just going to mention one or two of the more obvious ones. I'll let the rest of you mentioned the others. And there's LOTS to mention!
So of course, the big thing is that the G-Force civvies... are not civvies! Only Keyop is wearing a numbered shirt, and it's fuschia.
And what is with the big 'GF' on Jason's shirt? I guess now he's advertising that he's in G-Force? (Yes, in case you're curious, Mark is blond!)

I found this set online and downloaded them. I've noticed that while the writers and artists really had no clue with what they were doing, the scripts were more in-line with what BotP was. The artwork on the Top Cow series is much better though, even if their scripts were a bit out of line.
Great one, TJ! Still laughing here at Princess' and Jason's blue hair...

Maybe Chief Anderson sold them out in return for corporate sponsorships, and it stands for "General Foods"?
I know that I'm not good at all at "packing light," but their luggage sure looks awfully small! Whatever place they're visiting, I hope they're not staying long...
