To tell you the truth I had a feeling that I would not be accept here because I'm young and I do not know..but so far I'm enjoy it, really! I love the fan art and everyone here is very nice, i feel really welcome.ed
I too was a B of the P fan first then in the 80's when Barb Edmunds introduced me to Gatchaman on video, no subs or dubs but I was hooked. I even got several Japanese dictionaries trying to see what they were saying.
Last summer I found the subs and dubs dvd's and have been corrupting my kids ever since. They range in ages 13, 10 and 8.
Barb also introduced me to the Bird Scramble APA at that time and I'm lucky they had a spot open to welcome me back.
And mostly Thanks to the multi talented SJ I found this wonderful site and hang out here when I can get the putr away from the 13 yr old.
My daughter 10 yr old drew my icon.
I love your Icon great Joe shot.
I am glad you are enjoying yourself Vodka. We try to make it welcoming for everyone. It is always nice to hear new ideas and theories, whether it be from some one new to the fandom or some one who has grown up with one of the various different series.

Vodka, you're not the only person here who discovered the show through Tatsunoko vs. Capcom. Frankly, I don't care how people discover the show. I just love that there are fans from all walks of life who enjoy Gatchaman!
FWIW, when I play Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, I like using Joe as my lead character, and Jun as the B character. I put them both in their black outfits, and love to watch them do the Tornado Fighter together for Joe's super hypercombo. So you're not alone there either!

There's really no age limit for the Gatch fandom! As CD said you're more than welcome to share with us your ideas, Vodka ... different point of views make things more interesting, especially when everyone can have distinctive reasons why they tend to love the show and different favourite characters! I think that Tatsunoko vs Capcom has helped so much in bringing Gatchaman to the attention of the younger generation! It's awesome to see that such a show is being revived over and over again!

I agree! I made my cousins love Gatchaman and they really enjoy it and they say it iis not pervert as other anime since they are young teenagers
LOL, Gatchaman is definitely not 'perverted', although some people might have considered it a little 'violent' for its young audience at the time it was made. Today, though, it seems very mild.
If you like Jun's black outfit, Vodka, did you know it was based on a Jun doll that was released a few years ago?

I see it but I did not knew it was based on a Jun doll! That is so cool! I only got a Joe figure!
Hey TJ, do you think mabey we can play T v C one day?
LOL, Vodka! You'd beat me pretty easily, I'm sure! I'm still not that good. I had never played a fighting game before T vs. C, and I'm still working on the easiest level of difficulty. I learned on the regular Wiimote, and now I'm trying to get the hang of using the nun-chuck to do the movement. It's very different!

But I m average! Or even below average! I m the same TvC was my first wii game ever, but it is okie..maybe one day?
I've been told its not as hard as it looks, but have never tried to confirm that fact. Between the RA, being flat footed and having a nerve tumor in my right foot, I can't wear heels of any kind.
Didn'y I see a black swan drawing from one of our wonderful artists at some time or another?
