Gatchaman II--will we see it from ADV?

Hi everyone! This website is a blast! A great place to talk Gatchaman!

Anyway, the last episodes of Gatchaman will be out on DVD on October 17. Do you think that ADV will also release Gatchaman II and Gatchaman Fighter on DVD? I hope so, but I don't know how the sales of the Gatchaman DVD's have been. I've never seen either of those series and am really hoping they will release it.

Do you think if enough of us begged and pleaded, they'd do it??? I only know what I've heard about both series...and I'm very curious about Gatch 2...

I got some information from Jason Hofius on the BotP Yahoo group (thanks Meridianday!) where some asked about Gatch II and Gatch F. Jason said:

"It may be unlikely, but it's not necessarially impossible. The Anime
Works division of Media Blasters ( http://www.media-blasters.com ) has
recently been releasing Teknoman, another Saban series from the same
time period as their release of Eagle Riders. They have also
announced their intention to release an unedited version of Tekkaman
Blade, the source series for Teknoman. Since Media Blasters has
obviously developed a working relationship with Disney in order to
release Teknoman and Tekkaman Blade, there is no reason they can't
try to do the same for Eagle Riders, Gatchaman II, and Gatchaman
Fighter.

Media Blasters was asked about this during the San Diego Comic Con,
and said that they didn't have any plans to pursue those shows at
that time, but if there was enough interest, they might consider it.
They recommended writing them through their website as the best way
for people to express their interest. So, if you want to see those
two series released here, as well as seeing Eagle Riders get a
release, you might want to drop them an e-mail!

I would like that ADV put those series out but if Media-Blasters does with an English subtitle or dub that would be OK with me.

I got some hopeful news today.

I had sent an email to ADV respectfully asking if they might be able to acquire Gatchman II and F. They replied telling me that they had forwarded my email to their acquisitions department and hopefully will show these in the future.
