Joe with the full beard looks very "kinder, gentler condor" to me.

Especially when he's dressed as a young Moses.

I think the short hair makes Joe appear much softer. Maybe before he switched to his hard, edgy, angry attitude.


Obviously I am one of the few, if not the only one, who does not mind the short haired look on our boys. Not that I mind the long hair either.

CD, I think I agree with you. While I like the original version better, I do think Joe looks better with short hair than with facial hair. Again, though, I do think it is personal preference.

Becky, do you still have that story? You should share it with us if you do, even if it is incomplete and abandoned. Who knows, maybe some comments might bring it back to life.

lol ken with a beard just looks strange, but the short hair sorta works! I dont mind Joe with a beard though but prefer the long hair.

You're making me crack with laughter, girls! And Ken with the short hair is so reminding me of the OAV Ken! My two cents ... I like them more with long hair! Always had something for men with long hair, even if my DH always had it short!

I like the last one of Ken. You are correct TJ, it does remind me of Commander Riker, but I think of all of them the last one matures his features.

In the image with the narrow mustache I can really see an echo of RI.

It was a crossover (Who? Me and a crossover?) with Cartoon Network's Totally Spies. Jake had been made mute in the car accident that killed their parents. I ended up morphing Jake into Todd in Gatchamaniacs.

Yes! For me, third and fourth pic work. The full beard does seem to work better. (I had been thinking that as I contemplated Ken with facial hair. Jonathan Frakes got better looking when he grew the beard.)

Still, Ken should have long hair. It could be a bit neater....

I also think the beard suited him -it lent him some gravitas and made him less overtly a pretty boy. And Riker was supposed to be from Alaska, where (I've heard) beards on men are more common.
