It's September 30th, and I STILL don't have my damn helmet!
And those scumbags told me I'd have it by the end of the month. God damn it. NYAF starts next Friday. I emailed them, and they said "Oh don't worry! We'll ship your helmet out before October 8th." Oh, gee. Thanks! By then it will be too late. Assholes.
If you have proof that it was supposed to be delivered before the end of September, send them a letter canceling the order and requesting a full refund unless the product is delivered within 48 hours.
Also, remember that while it may not be in time for your current plans, you could use in in the future.
Called them up today. They said it won't be able to ship until at least Tuesday, and that it should be here by Thursday, October 7th. But who knows if they're 100% accurate.

Make sure you get the name of the person you spoke to. As Ame said - dig out your original order and check when they gave the shipping dates.
Just remember - the most important thing is to remain calm when you make a complaint.
The receipt didn't say when it will ship. I ordered it back in August. I paid $200 plus $45 shipping, so I hope they don't fuck it up!

Companies should either put shipping dates on receipts or have a posted shipping policy. $45 sounds like you are either dealing with an oversea's company (you can forget having it on time if it has to go through customs) or paying for bulky freight shipping. Keep pestering them, but do it politely. If the product arrives after stated shipping either on receipt or per company policy, you can always ask them to refund the shipping price.
The best of luck! Last Christmas, I've ordered a costume for my son, which he had to wear during a play, from overseas! After a lot of days, full of anxiety, during which there had been no sign of it, it arrived just a day before the play! ... so ... there's always hope! Even if you end up with an upset stomach after all the waiting!
