Hi all!
I guess it all depends on whether you're looking for mecha based on any member of the cat family, or specifically for mecha based off of the typical housecat.
If it's any form of cat-based mecha, then there were a few. There were the hyena mecha that attack Joe and Lucy's car in Gatchaman #27, as well as the wildcat mecha that attacks Jiro and Taro in Gatchaman #36. Not they're really "mecha," but there's the Commando Squad that wore leopard-style headgear in Gatchaman #73. For a more traditional Iron Beast mecha, there's the panther-like Iron Beast Bantegron from Gatchaman Fighter #37.
You average housecat got off fairly lightly, unless you want to look at the standard Gallactor uniform and its feline design. About the only use of an actual housecat that I can recall being used didn't actually make it to screen, and thank goodness for that! You see, in the early scenario draft of Gatchaman #31, one of the attempts Gallactor made to kill Dr. Nambu involved planting an explosive inside his pet cat. The attempt fails, of course, but it does not end well for either the cat or Nambu's villa. I am not at all upset that this sequence was eliminated from the version of the story we eventually saw.
I hope this helps!
James

Then, as our brave ninjas are gagging and trying to deal with the horror that is cat pee, an irate environmentalist arrives and blows the cat away with a .303.
That last bit is wishful thinking on my part. The last time we shot any feral cats, we used a .22. |

Speaking of cats once more;
I had pure white twin cats Turkish angora. Snow lilly got out of the house and we lost her on the 10th August 2017. Its now August 2020... 3 years later...
2 days ago she turns up in a facebook local lost and found pets post as a 'stray' cat someone has been feeding a few blocks away. I got excited!
She's alive! My white fluffy cat is alive!!!
She is now a hunter, (still charming), due to survival. I think someone took her into their home, then dumped her again. (She is high maintenance, is picky with food.)
So, now with the help of a few kind strangers, who have been feeding her when she visits their houses, they're helping me catch her. She has anxiety, and can be skitty. I'm hoping we have her home by the end of the week.
Back to Mechas;
GG Owl my Cat smudge wee's on furniture when she is stressing, or change is happening. The Kitty Mecha would create its own new weather system.
