Earlier in the week my operating system was crippled by some malware. My computer wasn't completely wiped out, but it was close enough. I managed to transfer most of my files to CD and DVD, but my games and word processor were totally gone.
Anyway, my uncle Larry happens to be the head IT guy at his company, so he had the ability and resources to re-install Windows 7, replace my word processor, and install a better antivirus. (I found out the hard way that, any more, McAfee is practically malware -- it's become so useless!)
In case you're wondering, Larry is the same gentleman who spirited away Dad's military uniforms and several other heirlooms to an undisclosed location when my brother stole Dad's tool cabinet a couple of years ago. He's been a real knight in shing armor for me.

It was so wise of you to call IT expert. Your uncle is so cool!!
When computer problems arise, it is rather far batter doing nothing than doing something by yourself.
