Here's a quick guide to what we say and what we mean...

Usually when we refer to the Eagle, as CD said, we're referring the THE EAGLE (from whichever version you please, though usually it's Ken or Mark). When we're referring to a board Eagle (ie: you or me) somewhere in the post it's mentioned that it's "this Eagle" or, in my case, "the female Eagle".

Or we might say Eagle Met, Eagle Hino or Eagle Tone.
Same with our Swan's TJ the Swan, Ebony the Swan etc.
Hope you see the difference. Even if it takes a while to understand it, Well it took me a while to understand the difference, but you are probably smarter than this Owl, you being an Eagle and all.
