Yeah, I have a page. Sort of. No idea how to get the most out of it. And a lot of foreign guys who want to be my friend.
So I haven't been back, except a few times.
Becky, you might consider a blog, or a website of your own to advertise your books. There are some free services out there, or that charge a nominal fee. You don't have to learn HTML or anything else, since many of them also have the templates and such that you are likely to need. (Says the person who has yet to get her own copywriting shit up and running. Gonna try today.)

Benefits, not features; benefits, not features
I did that as a newbie. Sometimes still do, but it's not all day, or even every day. My posts were so mundane I got tired of them. Now, if I can pust some sort of humor in them I post them, otherwise I don't.
facebook is great if you have something to say, something you're excited about or is happening in your life or that you hate and want to vent about. i have a friend who "vaguebook"s a lot though, so it turns me off from actually posting myself. there's just no way i want to come across as that... inane.
vaguebooking is the term for someone who posts something so vague and odd that it basically a cry for response from friends to ask "what's wrong, honey?!". it usually prompts the vaguebooker to reply "Oh nothing. I was just having a bad moment." and they never DO explain what the problem was or why they felt compelled to agitate the facebook waters. kind of like the three year old that tugs on your skirt every five minutes, you know?
jeez. i dislike vaguebookers. go tell your freaking teddy bear, then if you don't want to spell out what the issue IS.
ahem. yeah.
on the other hand, posting every few hours while you're on holiday in a hot tropical country, drinking cheap beer and watching skimpily costumed girls parade around is to be encouraged! preferably with pictures to back up said experience!

IKWYM... my favorite part of Facebook is the photos...I'm such a picture fiend! And I love catching up with old friends through pictures and seeing their little ones!
I have to admit, I'm jealous when I hear that someone is sitting in a tropical paradise somewhere! LOL
My biggest pet peeve is when people give a laundry list of everything they do each day..."got up, brushed my teeth, went to Wal-Mart, cleaned the pool, ate burgers and bon-bons for dinner...etc."
I mean, I want to hear what's going on in people's lives...but that's TMI!
I play several of the games, too...but I lose interest after a while.
