Ah, those huge shoulder pads, how I remember them. How it was possible to even buy bras with shoulder pads attached to the straps....
Shoulder pads were the bane of my life. I've always been quite broad in the shoulders, even when I was a bag of bones in the 80s. I used to have to cut the shoulder pads out of blouses so that I could actually move my arms in them (I was usually ok with jackets fortunately!). Nowadays I wear more jersey stuff so there's always enough stretchyness for my shoulders, but those flouncy frilly blouses just weren't stitched for me.

I know your pain Merin!!!!
I've got broad shoulders too, so I didn't need the shoulder pads either...I just had no boobs so a push up bra would have done me good back then!
I made my own clothes because they always fitted better,(I'm 5'10 tall)... and I still like to make my own jackets because the shoulders are never right in bought ones...

I envy you for being able to make your won clothes, Ebony! I'm still struggling with this idea to make my son an Eagle costume for Christmas... sigh...

Just glad you weren't living in the 70s, the decade where fashion was missing for 10 years.

You know, when I watched BOTP I always thought those grey triangles on the side of Cronus' head were his hair! Imagine my surprise when I realized in the ADV sets that they are his hat!!!!!
I know.... even scarier is when I watch the eps (Gatch and BOTP) and I start remembering it from when I was a kid... freaky!
And, of course, all of those Zark scenes give me the heebie jeebies now! I wonder how much it wearped me as a child to watch that!!!!! I mean, he's having phone sex with Susan and we see him stepping naked out of the shower!!!!!! Ewwww......

That is smut taken too far!
Let me leave the room while I throw up...
Ebony runs into the bathroom to find the Condor beat her there...
Jason looks up and quickly washes out his mouth...from his throwing up at that comment..."Here Ebony." He drawls in his most charming voice.. "Let me be a gentleman and I'll hold your long red hair back for you....I know it's like imagining your parents doing it huh...who ever mine were..." he mused as he helped a Swan out...
