I have been SCOURING the Internet, looking for a box set of all 105 Gatchaman episodes that would also contain the corresponding BotP episodes.
I have been lucky enough to obtain a box set that features twelve episodes - and a free COndor action figure... lol! What I find great about this set is that both editions are on the same dvds....
They never released all of them with the corresponding BotP episodes. If I remember correctly, the UK got all of the BotP episodes, but not Gatch episodes. The US released some DVDs with Gatchaman and BotP episodes, but not very many. Gatchaman-only DVDs are currently being released in the states.
I think the reasoning has to do with copyright issues.
In region 1, most of North America, ADV is doing them. I think it's 6 per DVD, two DVDs every two months. People are generally thrilled with the quality. It's got options for the original Japanese (with or without English subtitles), and English voice actors. There are two different translations: the subs are generally a more accurate translation, and the dubs fit the mouth movements.
You have to be careful when buying them, because they issue them as single DVDs and as box sets with three discs (two of episodes and one of extras). So Box Set 3 contains Discs V5 and V6 and E3. (Take a list of episodes with you.)
Jason Hofius is confident they'll finish the run (they're almost there), and I'm hoping they'll then combine them all into one huge box with a nice discount -- otherwise I'll be stuck picking them up on EBay.
I think Australia and Britain now have complete sets available, but I'm not sure.

Gatchaman isn't being released in Australia - we're having to buy it from overseas. As far as I can find out nobody has plans to release it.
All 85 BotP eps are available here - released by Madman (who only did it as part of their "retro" releases).
I'm slowly collecting Gatch now - and can't wait until I can get all 105 episodes. I'm going for the box sets, with 3 discs in them (12 episodes, plus a disc of extras) - but I am finding that many of the extras are on the BotP discs.
