I'll share with you the best advice I ever got from anyone before and since. (Cause you know, advice is always forthcoming at all marriages and childbirth for some reason.)

They say you should always go into a marriage equal partners, fifty-fifty, all the way. No one partner is better than the other, and you share the load down the middle.

This is a load of malarky.

Each partner in the marriage should indeavor to make the share one hundred-one hundred. Since the ammount you have within you to give varies from day to day, year to year, if you are giving 100 percent of what you have at any given moment, if you're lucky, you'll both balance out in the end of your journey knowing you both gave it your all every day of your lives.

I wish you both always love each other at least as much as you do now, and I wish you both the fortune of being each other's foil, guide, balance, and friend.
