New Gatchaman Crowds Insight Characters
|

Hi all!
The Gatchaman Crowds Insight Twitter feed and Facebook pages have shown us a few new characters who will appear in the series, along with short descriptions of who they are. They are as follows:
Kozo Misudachi (Character Voice: Goro Yamada)
"Tsubasa’s Father. An easy-going man who has kindly watched over his daughter’s dream to become a fireworks manufacturer.
When his daughter leaves for the capitol to be a Gatchaman, he sees her off with heartfelt support."
As ou can see, the model sheet image also shows Tsubasa's mother, but no name or description is given for her.
Yu Misudachi (Character Voice: Shiro Saito)
"Age: 99-years-old
Tsubasa’s Great-Grandfather. He is a legendary fireworks manufacturing veteran in Nagaoka, whom everyone calls by the nickname “Yurujii.”
A bit stubborn, he feels the “3” digit mark makes him unbelievable hale and hearty for his age."
The reference to the "3" digit is reflected by his wearing a large kanji "Three" on the back of his outfit.
Mirio Toriyama (Character Voice: Junichi Suwabe)
"The popular presenter who hosts the lunchtime information program, “Mirione Shop.”
With a flashy look and outspoken, quick-witted talk, he quickly grabs the attention of viewers, The Celebrity."
You may recall that "Mirione Shop" is the name of the talk show that also has O.D as a presenter, according to the updated character descriptions.
Also, just so you'll know, the Gatchaman Crwods Insight website has updated their character descriptions to include the G-Suits for the characters from the first Gatchaman Crowds series. The G-Suit descriptions are basically lifted from the Gatchaman Crowds website with little to no editing. About the only real change was that they added a line saying that the other characters can ride on Paiman's very large G-Suit.
It should also be noted that Gatchaman Crowds Insight episode #0 premiered last weekend on Hulu. At this point, I haven't found any subbed versions of the episode, though copies in straight Japanese have turned up. As a mostly introductory story, it's admittedly fairly easy to follow without subtitles, but I'll keep an eye out for a subbed version.
